Combine:
1 can cream soup of choice
1 can tuna
1 C grated cheese
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 C mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/2 C sour cream
3/4 C milk
2 Tbsp parsley
1 Tbsp lemon juice
8 oz. Country Pasta (cooked and drained)
(Country Pasta is a homemade style egg noodle)
Stir together, then pour into 9/9" baking dish.
Top with cracker or bread crumbs, if desired.
Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
Top with extra grated cheese the last 15 minutes of baking.
this picture of the pan is a doubled recipe, we use miracle whip for the salad dressing and I use half the amount of what it calls for, I have never used the lemon juice when I make it and don't use the crakers or bread crumbs, but we do put plenty of cheese on.
ReplyDeleteYummy! I made this casserole for Gavin and Callie and family and kept some for Alan. I wanted to know how it tasted and so (even though it has dairy in it) I sampled it and did not stop at one sample taste. I don't usually like tuna casseroles but this one was great.
