Velvet Salad

1 pkg lemon jello
1 cup hot water
1 cup cold water
1 lb marshmallows
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
1/2 cup cream whipped
1 pkg raspberry jello
1 cup hot water
1 cup cold water
Dissolve the lemon jello in hot water, add the marshmallows and melt into mixture, then add the cold water. Mix in the crushed pineapple, cream cheese, salad dressing, whipped cream. stir well, let set.
Mix the raspberry jello with one cup hot water to dissolve add cup of cold water, chill until syrupy then pour over the lemon jello mixture.

  1. I used to make this salad back in the days when I had a family and cooked. it is easy to make and good, and it s pretty. Well, Hilarie emaled me a couple of weeks ago askng me for the recipe, she remembered t and thought it would be good for takng to a church supper. then while looking through Hilda's recipes I found a copy of t in her hand writing. So I decided to add it here. Hope someone enjoys t.
